Blake Theater’s newest voices step into the spotlight in The Glow Show, a vivid and imaginative retelling of West African tales of Anansi the spider. Performed by our Freshman Performance Majors, this production marks their first full performance on the Blake stage. Through inventive storytelling, movement, and bold visual design, these young artists bring Anansi’s clever, mischievous world to life—reminding us all that wit, wisdom, and a little trickery can go a long way. A celebration of beginnings, The Glow Show is both a rite of passage and a glowing welcome to the Blake stage.
