Facilities

The Department of Theater at Howard W. Blake stages approximately 17 performances a year ranging from large scale musicals and plays to short experimental performances to readings of new works to costume fashion shows. The Department of Theater also hosts the District 5 Junior Thespian Festival every year in November, welcoming over 500 middle school theater artists to our home away from home.

With the addition of over 100 other fine arts events, our performance venues (and technical theater students) are busy year round. We play host to thousands of audience members a year making our facilities popular among other performance groups in the bay area.
